Welcome to Holy Cross Lutheran Early Childhood Education Center. I invite you to come visit our center at anytime, come see the children in action, see lots of learning in progress, see teamwork at its finest and see the love of Jesus in the hearts of many.

My name is Mindy Weiss….better known as Ms. Mindy. I am the director of the center and I also team teach in our Pre-k class. I have been teaching for the past 29 years and I have been here at Holy Cross since July 1996. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development from Cal State Fullerton. I have also earned my colloquy (a series of theology classes) from Concordia University Irvine. In November of 2008, my wonderful husband, Grafton, of 21 years went to heaven to be with our Lord and Savior. Our two children or young adults, Kaila and Garrett, are both successful college students. As for me, I am so blessed by my family and my wonderful friends God has placed in my life including the children and families here at Holy Cross. In my spare time I enjoy sunning and swimming in our pool, church and church activities, Disneyland, Family Game Nights and on Monday evenings you will find me at Linbrook Bowling Center….I bowl in a league. I love to bowl and I love Monday’s!!!

Holy Cross is where I first learned about Christ and His love for me….there is so much to learn and so much to share with everyone I meet.

Life doesn’t always go the way we hope it will or the way we plan but we need to remember Jesus is always in our midst……
